Plant-based foods are outpacing the growth of their traditional counterparts in many categories and being widely accepted by Canadian consumers.

The Certified Plant Based program was launched to ensure confidence in the word plant-based and to help consumers easily identify these products as they look to incorporate more options into their diets.

Plant-Based Foods of Canada (PBFC) is proud to partner with the Plant-Based Foods Association (PBFA) as the exclusive licensing agent to offer the program to companies in Canada. This alignment between PBFC and PBFA is a positive for the industry considering our integrated supply chain and the multinational nature of many companies in the plant-based foods space.
